And down the stretch they come...

Aaron Rodgers is having arguably the best season a quarterback has ever had. The Green Bay Packers have won 20 games in a row dating back to last season and are closing in on an undefeated season. Drew Brees is leading his New Orleans Saints to another division title while chasing Dan Marino's single season passing record. Under the radar Eli Manning is having a fantastic season and if it wasn't for Rodgers and Brees he would be in consideration for league MVP.

But a last minute entry into the race is making a lot of noise and making his charge. A lot has been said about this young man. He started the season much like everyone predicted, sitting last on the depth chart. His team's starting quarterback just signed a large contract and was thought to be the answer to their prayers.

Stepping into the starting role after the release of Kyle Orton. I believe the entire organization had one expectation, LOSE!

With the Andrew Luck sweepstakes in full court press, I believe the Broncos front office made the decision to move away from the previous regimes "mistake". That "mistake"was Tim Tebow.

What he has been able to do is for lack of a better word is remarkable. From 1-4  to 8-5 atop the AFC West with an eye on a division crown and a playoff birth. Tim Tebow has united a team that looked to be heading for a top 5 pick in next year’s draft.

People can say all they want about his faith and religious views, but that has nothing to do with ability, desire,  strength and drive to be the best he can be. But more importantly, his ability, desire strength and drive to make those around him better.

If Tim Tebow does in fact lead the Broncos to the Playoffs and to a AFC West Title, how can he not get some consideration for MVP? Just to be clear, my MVP vote is and would be Aaron Rodgers, but Tim Tebow's affect on the league is like nothing I have ever seen before and deserves to have some recognition. Don't you think?

God Bless Cleveland........ Please?
